Thanks to George Swann, he’s given me a pure experience of the Kimberley’s magnificent nature and birdlife. I am indeed thankful for George’s enthusiasm and energy and I strongly insist that all Broome visitors go out birdwatching with George. If you’re anything like me who appreciates raw beauty and natural wonders of our world, then George is the man for you!

Cathy Freeman, Australia, Olympic Gold Medalist

Thank you for a brilliant days birdwatching. George your enthusiasm for birds is so contagious and your knowledge of birds so thorough, that everyone who travels with you will learn. This was my third trip with Kimberley Birdwatching and each trip gets better

Patty Smith, Vic

We had a fantastic birding experience in northern Australia thanks to the hard work and guidance of George Swann. He got us the tough specialities – Black Grasswren, Grey Falcon, Mangrove Golden Whistler, Hooded Parrot, Terek Sandpiper – as well as abundant contact with that most glorious of dicky-birds, the Gouldian Finch. What a pleasure it was to travel with a talented and experienced naturalist, enjoying birds, other fantastic Australian wildlife and plants, and some interesting geology to boot. And what a thrill it was to experience all that tropical nature without having to worry about malaria and in general creature comfort. We’ve done biological field work on every continent, and spent years in Australia, but our time with George was a highlight of out global natural history experience.

ou enhanced the experience with your expertise in so many different fields that we all felt a little in awe of your knowledge. I for one am richer for the experience – thank you

Enid Hulls

That was my first ever “birding trip” and I am glad it was with you. It has opened up doors of wonderment and pleasure, thank you very much.

Kate Buckley, SA

I went birding with George Swann which, as ever, was very enjoyable. If anyone is in Broome for a short visit I would highly recommend George to show you around!

Neil Broekhuizen, NSW

We would like to thank you once again for the great trip we had. Your patience with me and your care for everyone on the tour was outstanding. George, you are truly amazing, how you remember all those Latin names for everything, I’ll never know. It was a wonderful experience for us to be up there in the north west and be thrilled every day by such beautiful surroundings and wonderful birds. I wound up getting 12 life-ticks. The guys at Birds Australia were envious of the crippling views we had of the Grasswrens.

Joan & Charles Sandbrink, Vic

The wildlife, gorges and the landscapes have left deep imprints. You, with your lively enthusiasms, hearty energy and abundant talents were a big part in making it all come together so well – It was outstanding.

Dale Champion, USA

Thank you George, your enthusiasm and the small group of like minded people made for great bird watching. The Kimberley has no peer for colour and excitement.

John McLennan, NSW

Not only does George Swann know where the birds are, his knowledge of the bush is outstanding and made for a truly great trip.

T & E Karplus, NSW

I strongly recommend to any birdwatcher that they do themselves a favour of a lifetime and join one of George’s enthusiastic expeditions, with his remarkable love and knowledge of the Kimberley and its distinct flora and fauna.

Graham Pittar, NSW

Superb bird watching, we had an excellent time with our excellent guide, excellent food, merci beaucoup!

D & L Phillippe, France

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience with many highlights including Red Goshawk and Gouldian Finch. George is an enthusiastic and patient guide!
